Ceremony of laying flowers on May 9, 2017 in Riga
6 may in Riga hosted a reception on behalf of the Ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, and 9 may on the occasion of the flower-laying ceremony took place on 72-th anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 over fascism.
On behalf of the ambassadors of States accredited in Latvia: J. Akhundov — Azerbaijan, M. Dolgopolova — Belarus, B. Mukhamedzhanov — Kazakhstan, Russian Ambassador Yevgeny Luk’janov addressed the guests with a welcome speech.
In his address, the Ambassador congratulated with Victory and thanked the representatives of Veteran’s organizations, all guests who celebrate this holiday, wished health and prosperity.
9 may victory day of the Soviet Union over fascist Germany in the Great Patriotic war Ambassador of Russia Yevgeny Lukjanov, Ambassador of Belarus Marina Dolgopolova, Counsellor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan Zhazira Myrzakassimova, Ambassador of Azerbaijan Javanshir Akhundov and others participated in the laying of flowers at the brotherly graves in Riga.
