9 мая от имени Послов Азербайджана, Беларуси, Казахстана, России и Узбекистана прошел прием и возложение цветов по случаю 73-й годовщины Победы в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 г.г. над фашизмом.

От имени Чрезвычайных и Полномочных Послов государств, аккредитованных в Латвии: Азербайджана — Джаваншир Ахундов, Беларуси — Марина Долгополова, Казахстана — Бауржан Мухамеджанов, Узбекистана -Шарафиддин Мирзакулов, Посол России Евгений Лукьянов обратился к гостям с приветственным словом.

В своем обращении посол поздравил с Великой Победой и выразил благодарность представителям ветеранских организаций, всем гостям, которые отмечают этот праздник, пожелал здоровья и процветания.

9 мая Посол России Евгений Лукъянов, Посол Беларуси Марина Долгополова, Посол Казахстана Бауржан Мухамеджанов, Посол Азербайджана Джаваншир Ахундов и другие дипломаты приняли участие в возложении цветов у братских захоронений в Риге.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
