News healthcare Medbaltica 2015 exhibition in Riga

International Medical Fair «Medbaltica 2015» took place at Kipsala International Exhibition centre in Riga, Latvia from 17–19 September. Members of Diplomatic Economic Club (DEC) attended the exhibition and got acquainted with the medical trends in Latvia and got information about the current events in this field.

Health care professionals, medical societies and manufacturers of medical products from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Finland, Slovakia and Sweden showcased a vast variety of dental, surgical, orthopaedic, rehabilitation and other medical technology and equipment, medical services and pharmaceutical products.

Members of DEC got information about innovative products, inventions of Latvian manufacturers and scientists.

RSU introduced the scientific development in several areas: oncology, rehabilitation, genetics, immunology, dietetics, occupational health and safety, and statistics.

Riga Pharmaceutical Factory presented Cardiolux, a new dietary supplement that improve cardiac function, and Vivasol drops, as well as immunity-enhancing cough syrup from Iceland Moss.

The «Tonus Elast» company offered various medical elastic band products for health improvement and disease prevention.

The 4th BNF-PRM Baltic and North Sea Conference on Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine brought together 30 speakers from 16 countries to discuss the acute topics – «The role of immune system in rehabilitation» and «The rehabilitation process of children reaching the age of majority».

Appeal to world leaders and humanity
