Spring is coming
On March 30th, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Riga together with EXANTE – an investment company organized a reception for Nowru, spring holiday marking the nature rebirth and the beginning of a new year.
At the reception deputies of Saeima, ministers, ambassadors, members of the Diplomatic Economic Club and businessmen were present.
In his speech, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Baurzhan Mukhamedzhanov explained that Nowruz became a national celebration which is celebrated by all Kazakhstani.
«More than 130 nationalities live in peace in Kazakhstan. Therefore, Nowruz is the feast of friendship, the feast of unity, the equinox of day and night, the beginning of an eastern new year from which all good and kind things are waited. Citizens say that the wishes made during Nowruz will surely come true. I want to wish each home good luck, warm, wellbeing, and to all people and all countries peace and harmony», – said the Ambassador.

Mukhamedzhanov has awarded the medals of «25 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan» to Secretary of Saeima Andrejs Klementjevs and Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport of Latvia Uldis Reimanis for their contribution to the development of friendship between Kazakhstan and Latvia.
Ambassador B.
