Members of the diplomatic Economic Club attended on the opening of international exhibition of medicine «Medbaltica 2017», which takes place in Riga September 21-23

An important event in the medical sector in Latvia-8-th Congress of Physicians of Latvia takes place once every four years and the 10-th international specialised exhibition of medicine «2017 Medbaltica» gathered at the International Exhibition Centre in Riga, doctors, representatives of professional companies and manufacturers of medical devices from Latvia and other countries.

«For ten years the exhibition „Medbaltica“ has become the meeting place where industry professionals receive information about updates to medicine, discuss topical conferences, health problems, share experiences with colleagues,» said project manager Medbaltica Mārtiņš Druvkalns.

In the exhibition «Medbaltica 2017» take part 125 companies from 11 countries-Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belgium, Italy, Russia, China, Poland, Romania, Singapore and Sweden.

Congress participants and visitors get acquainted with the latest equipment and materials to dental, surgery, orthopaedics, rehabilitation and other branches of medicine.

Section of medical technologies are represent such enterprises as «A. Medical», „Arbor Medical Corporation", «Dinastija „,“ Little Doctor International (S) Pte. Ltd“ of Singapore, „Albis Maur“ from Poland and „Doctor Tools“ from Romania; pharmaceutical section „Orkla Health“, „Recesus“, „Pharm & Med“, dental section-»Altex", «Dentoflex», «Schumann» Plandent", «Sogeva» from Italy, and others.

Riga’s pharmaceutical factory presents a new product-ointment «Oterino» with the scent of eucalyptus and mint, eliminates discomfort in the nose.

Latvian company «Tonus Elas» manufacturer of elastic medical products for disease prevention, showed for Club members a new collection of «AIR belts» made from innovative perforated tapes.

Laboratory «GenEra» carries out molecular diagnostics and along with DNA paternity tests, laboratory in cooperation with Latvian genome scientists and medics offers personalized DNA tests.
