Members of the Diplomatic Club, as well as representatives of the Diplomatic corps accredited by Lithuania visited the Mazeikiai refinery, owned by the group Orlen from Poland.

Orlen Lietuva group includes a complex of enterprises directly consisting of Mazeikiai refinery, oil terminal at Butinge, Biržai pipeline, as well as company Ventus Nafta and other commercial enterprises, network of AZS …

The Mazeikiai refinery, CEO Ireneusz Fafara

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Orlen Lietuva, CEO Ireneusz Fafara spoke in his presentation about the dynamics of group enterprises on the structure and tasks that were successfully resolved in the previous year. Orlen Lietuva in 2014 years reach a sufficient profitability and continued its increase, while investing in the maintenance and development of industries

For development and reliability in the supply of raw materials in Butinge Terminal, company builds sixth bunker for the storage of raw materials for the production cycle at the Mazeikiai Refinery.

Participants also visited the Būtingė, got acquainted with the process of pumping oil products from marine tankers to land.
