Reception of the Embassy of Poland in Latvia
On April 25, the reception of the Polish Embassy in Latvia was held on the occasion of the National Day of May 3, the Day of the Constitution of Poland, adopted in 1791
An introductory speech was made by the Chargé dAffaires of Poland in Latvia, Ewelina Brudnicka.On May 3, Poland marks the National Day of May 3 (Swieto Narodowe Trzeciego Maja) and the Constitution Day on May 3, dedicated to the anniversary of the adoption of the countrys constitution in 1791.
The first Polish Constitution is the first in modern Europe and the second in world history after the US Constitution.
The Chargé dAffaires of Poland in Latvia, Ewelina Brudnicka, congratulated the guests on the holiday, wished success and prosperity to the peoples of Poland and Latvia.
By tradition, the official receptions of the Embassy of Poland in Latvia are accompanied by musical concerts. This year the musical trio from Poland Wlodek Pawlik trio under the guidance of pianist Wlodek Pawlik, winner of many international competitions. The trios album received in 2014 the prestigious Grammy Award.
