Reception of the People’s Republic of China Embassy in Latvia

Charge d’Affaires ai of the People’s Republic of China Sun Englai (Sun Yinglai) on September 26 held a solemn reception on the occasion of the state holiday of the 69th anniversary of the founding of the PRC, the country’s main holiday, celebrated on October 1.

Before the reception, a concert was held, in which the famous pianist from China Melodie Zhao took part, who had already performed in Latvia with the choir of the Chinese National Opera.

Charge d’Affaires ai of the People’s Republic of Chin Sun Yinglai congratulated the guests and wished success and prosperity to the peoples of China and Latvia.

In Beijing, during a meeting on Tiananmen Square, on October 1, 1949, the formation of the People’s Republic of China was proclaimed.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity
