December 27th, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Latvia Mr. Badriddin Abidov invited guests to a farewell dinner due to the fact of completion of his mission in Latvia and the transition to a new position.

The Ambassador thanked the participants for their cooperation and fruitful work in developing mutually beneficial relations between Latvia and Uzbekistan, and wished success and prosperity in the new year of 2019.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 17, 2018, Badriddin Abidov was appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Badriddin Abidov has extensive experience in the fields of diplomacy, foreign economic activity and international law. He has held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and diplomatic missions abroad. Worked as Head of the Permanent Mission of Uzbekistan to the United Nations Office in Geneva (Switzerland).

We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
