Reception of the Embassy of Belgium in Riga
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium, Hugo Brauwers, held a reception in Riga on November 19 on the occasion of Belgian Dynasty Day, which was celebrated in the country on November 15.The reception took place in the Museum of the History of Medicine in Riga.
Residence of the Embassy of Belgium for Latvia is located in Stockholm. Reception was also attended by the Counselor of the Embassy of Belgium Thomas Castrel region of Flanders with a residence in Vilnius, Jean-Philippe Schklar Economic Counselor to the Embassy of Belgium, Walloon Region, with a residence in Riga, Honorary Consul of Belgium in Latvia Didzis Gavars

Holiday November 15 Belgian Dynasty Day was established by the Belgian King Leopold II and has been celebrated since 1866. This day symbolizes the unity of the Belgian nation in all its political, cultural and linguistic diversity.
