Belgian Ambassador Hugo Brauwers at the Diplomatic Economic Club

A joint lunch, presentation and conversation with the Ambassador of Belgium took place, on which the possible ways of the modern development of mutually beneficial economic relations, attracting investments, and other areas of the economy were sounded

Club President, Advisor to the Embassy of Belgium Thomas Castrel told the meeting participants about the biography of the Ambassador and his places of work

The ambassador expressed confidence that the economic, cultural and social ties of the peoples of Belgium and Latvia will continue the trend of growth and strengthening of positions in joint projects
Counselor to the Embassy of Belgium on economics, Flanders region Thomas Castrel and Wallonia — Jean-Philippe Schklar also noted the most important sectors in economic development, mutually beneficial cooperation projects between entrepreneurs of Latvia and the regions of Belgium

Club members and guests thanked the Ambassador for an interesting meeting and the first format of such meetings at the club
Thomas Castrel presented a book about the history of Latvia as a keepsake of the meeting.
In the evening, the reception of the Ambassador of Belgium on the occasion of Belgium Dynasty Day, which was celebrated in the country on November 15, was held.
