The Food industry exhibition Riga Food 2020 is organised in the International Exhibition Center in Riga from September 9 until September 12. Members of the Diplomatic Economic Club participated in the opening ceremony and visiting exposition

The exhibition provides networking opportunities, and for visitors – exploring new tastes and ideas for cooking. The grilling and BBQ competition is planned, and master-classes and presentations as well.

More than 450 companies from 25 countries will present the products and services. There will be joint national stands of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Moldova, Czech Republic, Canada, Ukraine, Japan, and Poland.

Very first time in the history of „Riga Food" there will be a Japanese stand. The visitors can explore the Japanese tea ceremony, can taste different kinds of tea, which is one of the major products being exported from Japan to the EU.

The Club member express the gratitude to the General Director of the company «ВТ 1» Mr. Viesturs Tile and Director of the Exhibition Mr. Rolands Nezborts for being introduced with proposals by Latvian and foreign producers on the Riga Food Exhibition.
