    Traditional Moldovan Blouse

    The Embassy of Moldova and the Art Nouveau Center in Riga presented an exhibitionTraditional Moldovan Blouse: «Ia», which is open from May 11 to June 26 at the Riga Art Nouveau Centre st. Alberta 12.

    The ambassadors of Slovakia, Hungary, Canada, Israel, Korea, Finland, Poland, the Netherlands and other countries, representatives of cultural institutions, members of the diplomatic economic club took part in the opening and viewing of the expositions of the exhibition.

    Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Latvia Andrian Rosa and Dr. arch. Agrita Tipane, Director of the Museum of Association of Culture Institutions of Riga Municipality — Riga Art Nouveau Centre, presented to the guests a thematic exhibition «Traditional Moldovan Blouse: „Ia“» an element of cultural identity.

    Blouses were embroidered not by professional seamstresses, but by people of different specialties. For them, sewing is a folk art. Each pattern has its own authenticity and belonging to the regions of Moldova.

    Diplomatic Club for Peace Appeal to world leaders and humanity

    Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa.
    Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians.
    We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations.
    Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people.
    Please don't even allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons.
    All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Diplomatic Club for Peace
