Kaspar Vyacheslav Butenko, Assistant Secretary of the Diplomatic Economic Club — host of the evening, makes a presentation.

On November 17, a meeting was held at the Diplomatic Economic Club on the occasion of Latvia’s Independence Day , celebrated annually on November 18th.
At the evening, club members watched a video about the country, its history, about Riga, other cities and natural resources.
The participants of the evening replenished their knowledge and took part in a quiz.

This year, the evening at the club on the occasion of Latvian Independence Day fell on the third Thursday of November, traditional for France — the first young wine produced this year goes on sale.The invariable greeting «Beaujolais Nouveau has arrived!»
Club members took part in a tasting, in which the manufacturer is unknown in advance, and the wine was purchased in an affordable sale for everyone.
According to their individual taste qualities, the tasting participants determined the best Beaujolais presented at the evening.

Members of the club congratulate Latvia and the people of the country on the holiday, wish prosperity and a peaceful sky for everyone!
