Reception of the representative of the Government of Flanders in Poland and the Baltic States

On June 13, the representative office of the Flemish Investment and Trade (Belgium FIT) in Vilnius hosted a reception for the representative of the Flemish Government in Poland and the Baltic States Thomas Castrel on the occasion of his transition to a new job.

In his address, Thomas Castrel noted that as he concludes his term as the Flemish Government’s representative in Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, he looks back on an incredible journey filled with important collaborations, shared successes and lasting friendships. It was an honour for Thomas to contribute to deepening the ties between Flanders and the vibrant Baltic countries, working actively with colleagues and partners.

Thomas thanked everyone who had been with him all this time and expressed confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the entrepreneurs of the countries.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
