The annual assembly of Club on May, 16th, 2008 took place.
The new structure of board:
Pavol Baranay — the President of Club
Olzhas Toguzbayev — Vice-president of Club
Valery Roldugin — Vice-president of Club
The assembly has expressed gratitude for work to the previous structure of board —
Ladislav Kubiznak, Raisa Redkina and Alexey Smirnov.
Decisions are made:
— to lead action «To plant a lilac on Avenue of friendship» — on June, 5th, 2008,
— each member of Club to prepare offers on actions of Club for the second half-year 2008
Taras Havrilyuk — the head of Trading mission of Ukraine in connection with departure home and its request has been accepted in Honorary members of Club.
Raisa Redkina — the first secretary of Embassy of Russia of communication with departure home and has been accepted by its request in Honorary members of Club. The Diploma of Club, souvenirs with symbolic of Club have been handed over.

By tradition, President of the Club presented souvenirs and a diploma Mrs Raisa Redkina, First Secretary Embassy of Russia. Through their joint work with the Club and wished further success in work.

Raisa Redkina according to the situation of the Club, was admitted to the Honored Members’ Club.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War! Peace All over the World Diplomatic Economic Club unites members from 37 countries of the world.
