5 февраля в Клубе прошла презентация концепции развития клуба, представленная Правлением на основании опроса большинства членов клуба.
Представлял программу вице президент Клуба Барбарос Туна Эрдем. Основное направление в деятельности клуба расширение взаимовыгодных торгово-экономических отношений между предпринимателями Латвии и других стран.

Концепция была полностью одобрена членами Клуба.
На заседании также рассматривался вопрос о решениях Правления о реорганизации и одобрены принятые решения, подчеркивающие важность соблюдения всеми членами Клуба действующих Положений о Клубе.

В члены Клуба был принят второй секретарь Посольства России по вопросам экономики Павел Бредихин

Гостями клуба на встрече были представитель Департамента Правительства Дубая в странах Балтии С. Сергей Канаев, предприниматель из Швеции Gunnar Kumm, руководитель представительства Мальтийской организации по туризму Anthony J. Caruana

На встрече клуба принял участие Теймураз Джанджалия — секретарь Посольства Грузии по вопросам экономики.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
