Беседа с советником, руководителем торгово-экономического отдела Посольства России в Латвии Евгением ТИХОНОВЫМ.

«Ежегодный оборот транспортной отрасли Латвии и сопутствующих ей
подотраслей составляет около 1,5 млрд. долларов. В общем экспорте страны
более 20% составляют транзитные услуги. Географическое положение у вас
просто идеальное. Рига, к примеру, — самый короткий путь к Балтийскому морю из Центральной России, в частности из Москвы. Вентспилс находится не намного дальше, и это прекрасный незамерзающий порт, способный принимать крупнотоннажные суда. Так что потенциал у вас очень приличный. Вопрос в том, как этот потенциал реализовывать.»
