Meeting of Club Members in Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On 9 November 2009 the meeting was held with Mrs. Zaneta Jaunzeme-Grende, Chief of the Board, in the conference hall of Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In her speech Mrs. Jaunzeme presented the structure and main tasks of Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, perspective directions of its activity, mission of the social organization that is reflecting the plan of Latvian economics stimulation.
Club Members specified about the cooperation possibilities and mutually beneficial connections between entrepreneurs from different countries.
Club President Pavol Baranay showed gratitude to Mrs. Zaneta Jaunzeme-Grende for the meeting possibility, expressed the unanimous opinion that such meetings help to coordinate the activities and to cooperate more purposefully.
P.Baranay gifted the Club Diploma to Latvian chamber of Commerce and Industry with greetings of success and wellbeing.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
