Thomas speaks fluent Russian and Polish and holds a MA Slavonic Studies and Eastern European Sciences obtained at the KU Leuven, Belgium.
Furthermore, he studied at Warsaw University, Poland, and Vilnius University, Lithuania. Thomas also obtained a MA Management at the Leuven School of Business and Economics and an Advanced MA International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Antwerp.
Before his appointment in Vilnius, worked as Deputy Director Inward Investment with Flanders Investment and Trade. He has previous experience as export sales manager in the CEE region. Besides extensive know-how in the field, he can lean on a strong academic background. Right after graduation Thomas was active as a research assistant at the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
