March 21 the delegation of the Diplomatic Economic Club visited Vilnius and paid a visit to the Ambassador of Ukraine in Lithuania Valery Zhovtenko
Board of the Club in November 2011 decided to award a member of the Club, Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania the Medal of Honor V. Zhovtenko « For outstanding contribution to the development of international trade and economic relations ».

The Secretary of the Club, Anatoly Butenko presented the Medal of Honor and Certificate, and wished them success and performance goals

Valery Zhovtenko, in the period 1999 — 2004 he worked at the Ukrainian Embassy in Latvia, Head of Trade Mission of Ukraine. Actively participated and supported the organization of the Diplomatic Economic Club, along with colleagues. Member of the Club since its inception. Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
