June 12 in Jurmala residence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Latvia Alexander Veshnyakov hosted a reception to celebrate the Day of Russia

Russia Day — a holiday of freedom, civil peace and the good agreement of all the people on the basis of law and justice. This festival — a symbol of national unity and shared responsibility for the present and the future of their homeland.

Russian Ambassador to Latvia Alexander Veshnyakov congratulated those present on the occasion of the Day of Russia, wished well-being of the peoples of Russia and Latvia, to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding and further development of multilateral ties between the countries.

In honor of the bicentennial of the victory in World War II in 1812 styled war at that time showed tricks with a weapon and a life of historical time.
