Sporta sacensības World Masters Games 2013 šoreiz notika Turīnā, no 2. Līdz 11.augustam, 2013. World Masters Games ir nopietnākās sacensības sporta pasaulē atlētiem vecumā virs 35. Tās notiek reizi četros gados, līdzīgi kā Olimpiskās spēles

Par airēšanas uz kanoe sacensību sudraba medaļas ieguvēju kļuva kluba biedrsJakócs György.

Šis iespaidīgais notikums piesaista desmitiem tūkstošu sportistu un cilvēku no visas pasaules. Spēlēs piedalās četras reizes vairāk dalībnieku, salīdzinot ar vasaras Olimpiskajām spēlēm. Neviens cits sporta pasākums pasaulē nepiesaista tik daudz dalībnieku.

Šīs nav sacensības starp valstu izlasēm, šīs ir sacensības starp sporta mīļotājiem. Pirmās spēles notika Toronto, 1985.gadā. Turpmāk spēles uzņēma tādas pilsētas kā Kopenhāgena, Brisbena, Portlenda, Melburna, Edmontona un Sidneja. Vairāk par 50 tūkstošiem dalībnieku piedalījās Turīnā organizētajās sacensībās.

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
