On October 2, Club held the first Board meeting, where the agenda of upcoming events and activities was discussed.

October Meetings:

Guest of the Club – Dace Kalsone, Project Manager at Ministry of Finance of Latvia, Euro Project Manager.

The Club is planning the meeting with Nikolay Mezhevich member of ‘’Baltic Forum“ and PhD of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of European Studies at the Faculty of International Relations. Economy Relations Development of Russia, North countries and Baltic Region, Saint – Petersburg State University, Russia

— In October, Club Members will participate in grand opening of Exhibitions and Events such as Baltic Furniture (3-6 of October), Environment and Energy 2013 (17-20 of October), which will be held at International Exhibition Center Kipsala.

Planning to invite the Ambassadors of some countries.

Events are planned: such as meeting with entrepreneurs from Poland, Club Annual meeting (February 2014), trip to ‘’Latvias Keramika“.
Club Agenda and Club Events with members participation are settled.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
