At a meeting of the Diplomatic Economic Club on December 11 was summarized for 2014, welcome new members to the Club, the election of Vice President of the Club, action plan for the next year

Events and meetings, which took place in 2014 with the participation of members of the club have contributed to the development of mutually advantageous economic relations, strengthen friendship and mutual understanding.

Elections to the Board of Directors of the club.
Vice-President of the Club was elected Andrey Kozlov, Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine in Latvia.

Been amended in the Regulations on membership in the club.
Established categories of membership:
Full members of the Club — location of the Baltic States and outside the Baltic countries.
Honorary members of the club.
Former members of the Club, related to the limited time staying in Latvia Club members — diplomats.

Plan of activities for 2015

The plan includes the traditional meeting with the ambassadors of foreign countries. Joint evening with the Embassy of Slovakia, Hungary, Uzbekistan, on the development of bilateral economic relations, the Agency for Investment and Trade of Flanders.
Access to the suggestions of exhibitors at exhibitions at the International Exhibition Center in Kipsala in Riga.
Planned cultural and sports activities for members and their families.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
