Diplomatic club members attended the opening ceremony of the international tourism fair Balttour 2015 and studied tourism offers in Latvia and abroad.

Over the years „Balttour“ has grown into a major event for visitors wishing to travel and gain new experience both in their home country and around the world and for the fair participants, as they can directly communicate with prospective clients.

„Balttour“ fair is split in two thematic halls – „Discover the world!“ and „Travel in Latvia!“ This makes it easier for visitors to meet the right decisions based on their preferences.

Club members captured the attractive flavor of tourism in Latvia – historical and natural sights, ecological and gourmet tourism options, ancient traditions of Latgale, Vidzeme, Kurzeme, Zemgale regions and the capital city Riga.

The Slovakian tourism agency stand representatives told about recreational options in their country: ski resorts, hot springs, caves, ancient castles, all of which attract tourist attention.

Club members also visited the stands of Dubai tourism department, Ukrainian international airlines, Hungarian Robinson Tours and others.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
