Independence Day of Estonia

On February 24, the Independence Day of Estonia, is celebrated since 1918, when the Declaration of Independence was taken in Tallinn.
On February 24, the Ambassador of Estonia in Latvia Tonis Nirk held a reception on occasion of the 97th Independence Day of Estonia.
The reception participated the Chairman of Latvian Saeima, deputies, diplomats and businessmen.

The Ambassador Tonis Nirk announced his speech in 3 languages, noted that Estonian and Latvian cooperation is important, countries have many similarities and pointed out the similar course in EU .
Ambassador proposed the toast and wished all success and prosperity.
