Year of Slovakia’s presidency in Visegrad Group

In Latvian Military museum, the ambassador of Slovakia Hatiar has opened the exhibition «How CentralEurope Helps the World», which is dedicated to the passing of presidency in Visegrad Group (V4) from Slovakia to Chezh Republic.

The year of presidency of Slovakia in Visegrad Group, which consists of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic, there were organised more than 40 events on various levels under the slogan"Dynamic Visegrad forEurope and the World" starting from July 2014 till June 2015.

On the opening of the exhibition, the ambassador of Slovakia Peter Hatiar told about the activity of the V4 countries and Austria’s and Slovakia’s aiding countries of the Third World, as well as cooperation with international organisations.

The ambassador emphasized the symbolical character of the fact that Latvia is finishing its presidency in EU, and Slovakia is passing the presidency in V4 to Czech Republic.

The response followed from the ambassador of Czech Republic Pavol Sepelak.

The exhibition in the Latvian Military museum (Rīga, Smilšu 20) is opened from July.
On the photos, there is represented he activity of Austria, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Czech Republic helping the countries of Central Europe.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
