You don’t need to reinvent the wheel! This popular saying does not refer to design.
Members of Diplomatic Economic Club had an opportunity to get acquainted with a variety of modern equipment for office and home at «Baltic Furniture 2015» and original ideas at the Riga International Design Fair "Design Isle 2015“ held at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre in Riga from 2–4 October.
The Baltics’ biggest furniture, interior design and lighting fair «Baltic Furniture 2015» offers visitors a vast exposure of Baltic furniture business, an opportunity to place individual orders and receive attractive quotes from such popular brands as Wenden Furniture, Bolderāja Serviss, Troja, Feidi, Tempur and others.
More than 120 companies are showcasing there upholstered and leather furniture, cabinet and built-in furniture, furniture sets, and modern interior design objects for home and office.
At Riga International Design Fair «Design Isle 2015» more than 190 designers from the Baltics showed their works and accomplishments.
The interactive «Blanket of Stars» that helps baby sleep better, designer furniture made of hundred years old tree, as well as usual things in an unusual form.
«Design Isle» this year paid a special attention to the bicycle. A bicycle design involves a whole team of people. However, the famous saying «you don’t need to reinvent the wheel» does not refer to design, because this field opens up a wide range of possibilities for creative expression.
