Reception in Riga, devoted to the Day Constitution of Uzbekistan

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia and Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA), 9th December held an evening dedicated to the Constitution Day of Uzbekistan

The evening was attended by deputies Saema of Latvia, Ambassador to Finland Olli Kantonen, Estonian Ambassador Tõnis Nirk, Ambassador of Georgia Teimuraz Janjalia, Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine Andrei Kozlov , students from Uzbekistan and other guests.

A welcoming speech appealed rector of RISEBA Dr.oec Irina Sennikova

Students made a presentation about the history and modern life of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan’s national holiday — Constitution Day — celebrated in the country every year on December 8th. In 1992, Supreme Soviet session the Republic of Uzbekistan was unanimously adopted by the Basic Law of the country — the Constitution of Uzbekistan as an independent sovereign state.

Students were told about the history and achievements of different cities of Uzbekistan.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
