Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Latvia Afzal Artikov on the meeting with members of Diplomatic Economic Club Anatoly Butenko, talked about the possibilities of development of trade-economic relations with Uzbekistan on the modern stage.

The Ambassador spoke about the directions of development and the participation of foreign investors in the investment proposals, the acquisition of stakes of existing enterprises on the territory of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with a gradual plan for the development of Uzbekistan’s economy, is currently undergoing another privatization of state shares in certain enterprises of the Republic.

Spoke about his participation in the investment forum, which was held in Tashkent in November 2015.
Raised the issue about the repeated practice of participation of Uzbek entrepreneurs on exhibitions, which take place in Riga, international exhibition centre in Kipsala.

The Uzbek Ambassador Afzal Artikov told about the prospects of the markets of regions of Middle Asia, about the opportunities of doing business in the country.
