Golf competition for Clubs prizes
In waiting for Ligo celebration, summer solstice day, on June 17, 2017 Diplomatic Economical club members with their families took part in tradicional competition for clubs championship in golf, which took place in golf club „Viesturi“.
This annual summer meeting and competition in golflnks for Clubs prizes took place for 11th time.
For some participants this is their first meeting with golf playing, but for the others this is already a game and the start of a real game became competition for clubs prizes!
Competitions grand prix holder became Kanybek Auzbayev, all his hits got to the goal.
The winner, who took first place in the 11th Diplomatic club golf tournament is:
Jiri Rejl — headmaster of Chech Trade representation in Baltic countries
Maksim Shushunov took the second place, Nursat Auzbayev took the third place, he supported his father, who took competitions grand prix.
Diplomatic Economical clubs president Thomas Castrel awarded the winners with medals and gave memorial prizes of competition, he expressed his confidence that todays game participants will choose golf as their sport hobby.
Tradicionally, the competition tooks place in waiting for the big celebration in Baltic countries and especially in Latvia, which is called Ligo. Competition participants and members of their families organized a picnic in the honor of the winners. Club members were informed about Ligo traditions: celebrational bonfire making and jumping over it, celebrational treat with round cheese and beer, searching for the fern flower and traditional Ligo songs.
