On May 12, a meeting of the members of the Board of the Club took place on the planning of events.
The meeting was attended by the President of the ClubThomas Castrel, vice President Dmitry Glebov and Secretary Anatoly Butenko

The upcoming action plan for the club includes the traditional summer season meetings:At the end of May, the traditional action „Plant a lilac bush on the Friendship Alley“ will take place, on which over 120 bushes planted by members of the club since 2002 have already been planted.

A meeting will be held in June on the occasion of the completion of work in Latvia by K. Power,golf club competition

In July, it is proposed to take part in a doubles tennis competition, sports games for club members and their families on the shores of the Gulf of Riga

At the end of August, a visit to the Immer group in Ventspils and a club meeting with the head of the company Irina Miroshnik is scheduled in the framework of the international exhibition Riga Food

In September, a trip to Cesis to the Venden company will take place and a visit to the Gauja National Park

In the autumn, meetings with the Ambassadors of Belgium and the Czech Republic are scheduled. Meetings will also be held with the head of the Freeport of Riga, enterprises of the Latvian energy industry, etc.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
