Trade shows in the safe green mode

International Exhibition Company BT 1 resumes trade shows in the safe green mode!

To ensure the safety of participants and visitors, to offer full range of opportunities provided by exhibitions and to reduce the risk of a last-minute event cancelling, International Exhibition Company BT 1 resumes its autumn season events in the green or „safe“ mode, i.e. everyone present has been vaccinated against or has had Covid-19 during the last half year.
„It is a traffic lights principle where the green light signal is the only one allowing starting movement safely, quality exhibitions under the current restrictions can be organised only in the green mode. The green mode is not subject to various restrictions, so people will be able to enjoy all the opportunities exhibitions offer– to have face-to-face communication and consultation, to take part in conferences and workshops, to taste and try new products – safely and effectively, just as it was before the pandemic. The green mode makes it possible to predict that exhibitions will take place as long as possible – until a lockdown,“ tells Viesturs Tile, Board Chairman of the International Exhibition Company BT 1

The green mode allows taking full advantage of the exhibition opportunities

In line with the epidemiological safety measures, exhibitions attended only by persons who are vaccinated against Covid-19 or have had Covid-19 during the last half-year shall be regarded green or safe environment. This condition also applies to children who are not yet vaccinated against Covid-19. The green mode is closest to the time before the pandemic began – neither exhibitors nor visitors will have to wear face and mouth covering, respect physical distancing, nor the number of visitors and opening hours will be limited.

„Companies are well prepared to show the world the best being produced in Latvia, as well as to promote Latvia as an attractive and prospective tourist destination. This spring, we have already foreseen a wider range of support instruments for promoting exports and organising large international events in Latvia in the post-pandemic recovery period, so I am pleased that exhibitions resume – for businesses, it means new contacts and business niches on the global market, for our economy – versatile and export-oriented development. Therefore, I call upon businesspeople, organisations and people focussed on cooperation to participate in international exhibitions in Latvia for the development of both their businesses and the economy as a whole,“ explains Jānis Vitenbergs, Minister for Economics of Latvia.

All these exhibitions will meet the national Covid-19 safety measures in keeping with the green safety mode.

    Prerequisite – a valid Covid-19 certificate
In order to participate in or visit exhibitions, everyone will have to present a valid Covid-19 certificate attesting that a person has been vaccinated against Covid-19 or has been diagnosed with the disease during the last half-year. The Covid-19 certificates will be checked on entry before the box offices.
Representatives of companies from countries that have a national Covid-19 certificate made interoperable and verifiable across the European Union will be able to participate in international exhibitions held in Latvia. Find information on Member States connected to the European Digital Covid-19 Certificate Gateway on the website of the European Commission.

If the situation improves – the safety regime might be changed!
Should the number of new COVID-19 cases decreases and the epidemiological situation in the country improves rapidly, BT 1 concedes that another safety regime might be applied to exhibitions and trade fairs, subject to all national safety requirements at that time.

Diplomatic Club for Peace Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa.
Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians.
We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations.
Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people.
Please don't even allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons.
