The Embassy of Hungary in Latvia in the Hall of the VEF Palace in Riga on October 24 conducted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of Hungary, the anniversary of the 1956 revolution and the struggle for freedom. The holiday is celebrated in the country on October 23.

The Hungarian Ambassador to Latvia Ferenc Banay welcomed guests on the occasion of the holiday, spoke about the events that were held over the years of his location of the Hungarian ambassador in Latvia.
The ambassador wished the peoples of Hungary and Latvia prosperity, success, well-being and further strengthening cooperation.

The musician from Hungary Izsak Farkas using a violin, electro -acoustic devices expanded the conceptual boundaries of music. He is a musician of a well -known music group,Infusion Trio, which represent modern hits in a completely new performance using equipment and sound recording effects.
Izsak Farkas is a popular musician and a successful teacher. In the VIG theatre in Budapest for 6 years, he played a major role in the play «The violinist on the roof.» He is the leading figure of many jazz, rock and other groups.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
