Reception of the representative of the Government of Flanders in Poland and the Baltic States

On June 13, the Flanders Investment and Trade Agency (Belgium) in Vilnius hosted a reception the representative of the Flanders Government in Poland and the Baltic States, Thomas Castrel on the occasion of his transition to a new job.

In his speech, Thomas Castrel noted that, ending his term of office as a representative of the Government of Flanders in Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, he recalls an incredible journey, filled with important cooperation, common successes and lasting friendships. It was an honor for Thomas to contribute to the deepening of ties between Flanders and the Baltic countries, actively working together with colleagues and partners.

Thomas thanked everyone who had been with him all this time and expressed confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the entrepreneurs of the countries.

Appeal to world leaders and humanity

Diplomatic Economic Club strongly condemns and is not accepting any kind of aggression, military collisions, wars between countries, which are happening here close in the center of Europe, on the other continents of the world, in Asia, in Africa. Nothing can justify the use of force in any cases, everywhere it leads to suffering of civilians. We call all parts, leaders of all levels for a peaceful solution of any disagreements through the dialog and negotiations. Only the Peace on our planet, olny Friendship and mutual understanding promote the life of people. *Please don't even* allow yourself any thought about World War III, about nuclear weapons. All the humanity remembers the wars of the 20th century, and if somebody has forgotten, please remember. Stop War!
