Diplomatic Economic Club^{® Since 1997}

On October 10th, Diplomatic Club held the meeting on the subject of the practical aspects of introduction of Euro in Latvia with Dace Kalsone, Euro Project Manager.

International Exhibition Centre Kipsala on 3-6 October. Diplomatic Club members attended the «Baltic Furniture 2013» and «Design Isle 2013» official opening ceremony and got acquainted with the exposition.

On October 2, Club held the first Board meeting, where the agenda of upcoming events and activities was discussed.

On September 26th, the club held the meeting. The meeting had a presentation delivered by entrepreneurs from Stavropol Region. The Management of the Club was elected.

On 25th September 2013 in the „Maritim“ hotel took place a solemn reception on the occasion of a state holiday, the 63rd anniversary of foundation of the PRC, which is celebrated on 1st October

Club Events for autumn — winter 2013/2014 season are planned. On the 19th of September Members had a meeting where the agenda of upcomingevents was discussed.

At the International Exhibition Centre in Riga Kipsala an exhibition of Medicine «Medbaltica 2013.» Participating manufacturers of medical products and services from Latvia and other countries.

On the September 5th, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan has held the offical reception celebating country’s Independence Day.

Riga Food is the biggest food exhibition in Baltic countries, where there are represented the development tendencies and different innovations. In this year, 600 enterprises from 38 countries represent their products and services on Kipsala.

Reception of the Embassy of Ukraine on the occasion of Independence Day, which was celebrated on August 24, was held on September 3 in Riga, in the Small Guild Hall.

The World Masters Games 2013 took place in Turino, in the time span from 2nd till 11th August, 2013. The silver medalist in canoening became the Club member Jakócs György.
